Why should you prefer L'henne for Body Art?

First of all it is a TOTALLY NATURAL substance that does not hurt hair and scalp and therefore does not give problems in general.

But henne for body art is devoid of any other substance other than Lawsonia Inermis.

On the market it is easy to find hennaes already prepared but with the addition of para-phenylendiamine PPD and Sodium Picramate already widely used in other chemical dyes and easily attributable to sensitizing effects and even important and very annoying allergies.

So beware absolutely be wary of henne 'sold as already prepared but with other substances of a (little natural) nature and that therefore make the use of henna in itself useless for those who want to make nature an ally of beauty.

It is always very important to read the INCI of a product or the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients, it is nothing but the nomenclature and the list of the ingredients that make up any cosmetic.

There are many benefits that are obtained by preferring this vegetable dye to a chemical one:

*Thickening of the hair shaft and therefore more visibly thicker hair
*Extraordinary gloss
*Intended color
*White hair cover
*Excellent sebum regulator, therefore perfect for those who suffer from dandruff
*Excellent antipidocchi
*Excellent beauty treatment for the hair.
*Makes the hair more resistant to breakage
*Smoothes the cuticle, significantly reducing frizz
*It is an excellent antifungal

The henna 'being 100% natural has no lightening power in fact it colors by binding the coloring molecule the "lawsone" to the keratin of the hair.

This means that the color obtained is the sum of the color of your starting point with the lawsone.

It is possible to mix henna which is only Lawsonia Inermis with other dye plants such as Indigo or Cassia.

In the market you will find many henna already prepared with different colors, it is good to know that there are no '' henne neutro '', '' henne nero '', '' henne biondo '', '' henne brown ''...

On the other hand, it is true to be able to obtain different shades by mixing the henne with the other full dyeings in the right proportions.

CURIOSITY':

How can you know if the henna you used is full of toxic metal salts?

Take some of your hair, mix 20 ml of 20-volume hydrogen peroxide and 20 drops of 28% ammonia.

Put the hair you've taken in the mix of hydrogen peroxide and ammonia (this mix is contained in hair dyes).

If there is lead in the henna you used, the hair will immediately change color.

If there is silver nitrate there will be no change of color because the silver coats the hair, you will notice instead a slight green reflection.

If there is copper, your hair will begin to boil, it will become hot, it will smell very much and disintegrate
