Cassia Obovata

Cassia Obovata or senna italica is a plant belonging to the Leguminosae family.
It is improperly known with the name of "neutral henna".
The dust of the Cassia Obovata is very similar to those of Lawsonia Inermis, but does not stain hands or hair.
Cassia obovata is also known as Senna obovata.
Cassia and Senna are often used interchangeably in botanical texts.
The Cassia contains chrysophanic acid, this allows it if diluted with an acid substance to release a yellow color. The higher the chrysophanic acid is the more dye will be, generally the coloring power of the cassia is very bland or otherwise visible only on already light hair.

Cassia has many properties for hair, the main ones are:
Restructuring
Polishing
Conditioner
Cures excess sebum
Natural dandruff
Natural coloring

Cassia Obovata is the natural remedy par excellence for chemically treated hair with dyes and bleaching that need to regain body and vitality.
