The scientific name of the fenugreek is Trigonella foenum-graecum and is used both in the kitchen and as a natural remedy for the health of the body and for the beauty of skin and hair.

The fenugreek drug - that is the part of the plant that is the richest in active principle - is represented by the seeds, used as a spice in the kitchen or used in tonic herbal teas for the body or reduced to powder for cosmetic use.

The powder obtained from the grinding of fenugreek seeds is insoluble both in water and in oil and is used mixed with clays or other powders obtained from plants to prepare masks for skin and hair; alternatively, fenugreek powder can be used to make macerated in water or in oil that will then be added to emulsion creams, ointments or ointments.

As for the use for the skin, fenugreek is used for its antioxidant, astringent and anti-inflammatory properties: it is an excellent remedy to prevent skin aging, soothe irritations and shrink the pores of the skin.

Irritated and inflamed skins, oily skins that have large pores and mature skins can benefit from the use of fenugreek powder in masks, creams or other cosmetic products.

Fenugreek powder is also used for the health and beauty of hair: this plant in fact seems able to stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss, as well as to strengthen hair and give volume and shine to fine hair. ruined.
